We live in a fragmented world – one filled with declining relational connections and lives stressed by jam packed schedules and demanding work & home expectations. We want to experience more out of life and yet struggle to find it or achieve it. We come to church hoping that we can find some answers or solutions.
At the foundation of what we need and are looking for is a relationship with the living God. How does a relationship with God provide the answers or solutions we are looking for?
To begin with, God has stated in His Word, the Bible, that His purpose for our relationship with Him is to fully restore us to the image He originally had in mind when He created us. God wants to live in us and through us so that we can be like Him. We don’t experience this by just attending church though. God accomplishes His purpose for us in the context of healthy, Christ centered relationships.
So, wherever you are on your spiritual journey, being in relationships with others is important for your spiritual growth. Pursuing connection through a Neighborhood Small Group is a great place to start. You can start by connecting to the people of Hope – right where you live.
Many of our newly formed Small Groups are looking to add new members while several brand-new 6-week “starter” groups that we call “Taste of Community” are also being formed.
Whether you’re interested in an existing group or a brand-new one, please know that our goal is to help you find a Neighborhood Small Group that will help you take next-steps of growth and connection. To learn more click on the Neighborhood Group tab.
